Changing kernel parameters in Linux for Oracle database
Good day, everybody.
I want ot setup an Oracle database on a Linux machine. How can i setup the kernel parameters like shmmax etc ?

cat /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax
then
echo "xxxxxx" > /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax
cat /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax
Put the command into start-up script.
