Changing the user environment to VUE

Hi,

I am tryin g to install some software that requires VUE as the user
environment.

The system is currently installed with CDE..

How can I convert the user environment from CDE to VUE without re-installing
the OS.?

I run a lot of VUE software under CDE without changing anything. This is hpux
10.20. What software absolutely requires VUE??

First of all you have to have VUE installed !

Next you change the file "/etc/rc.config.d/desktop"

Change "DESKTOP=CDE" to "DESKTOP=VUE" in this file.

Change runlevel to 2 and then 3, or reboot.
