Hello there,

What is cimserver? What is its function. My own software is applied in rx2600 with hpux 11.23 within its own network. No internetowrk is used. Do I stop it? Because I haven't idea about it?

It is the old Compaq Insight Manager server and client software and it is used for monitoring the server. If you don't have any other CIM presence for server monitoring, you probably have no use for it.

It is disabled in /etc/inittab and in /etc/rc.config.d startup mechanism.
