Command to Clear IML in Red Hat

Hi,

1) Could someone let me know the command clear the integrated log in Red Hat please.

2) Also I can't perform this function via SIM / SMHP for this Red Hat server on the windows management server. i.e. when the PSP was applied, I only have read access to the SMHP. How can I get full access.

Many Thanks in advance
Mark.

1. hpimlview

2. Did you add SIM's certificate to the SMH?

Re: Command to Clear IML in Red Hat

Thanks, but I must confess to knowing nothing about this OS. That command does not seem to work. Can you tell me from which folder I need to run it from please.

Thanks
Mark.

Re: Command to Clear IML in Red Hat

If you've installed the agents and related tools (the PSP would have installed them along with everything else) you can run "hpimlview" or "/sbin/hpimlview" as root to view and modify the IML. It's an ugly full-screen text interface - navigate with tab, the arrow keys, and enter/return.
