Configuration assistant "Oracle Database Configuration Assistant" failed
I Install Oracle 10g on HP UX 11.23, until Database Configuration assistant, get this error. :
/oracle/assistants/dbca/templates/Seed_Database.dfb containing the datafiles information is not found.

The File
"/oracle/OraHome_1/assistants/dbca/templates/Seed_database.dfb" containing the datafiles information is not found. please specify a valid file
Configuration assistant "Oracle Database Configuration Assistant" failed

The "/oracle/OraHome_1/cfgtoollogs/configToolFailedCommands" script contains all commands that failed, were skipped or were cancelled. This file may be used to run these configuration assistants outside of OUI. Note that you may have to update this script with passwords (if any) before executing the same.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shalom,
This is a pretty common failure.
Oracle tries to set up an example database as part of the installation process.
Take a look at the install log, see if there were other, more serious errors.
You should however be able to proceed with creating an actual production database, or migrating you database from an older version of Oracle.
