Re: Congratulation to HP

Way to go to the little gecko workstation.
I bet there is a drive big enough for the next patch session. Question is, can the 712 handle it. ;)

I'll never get to see that kind of uptime, as we do a yearly cleaning of our systems. :-/

Neat to see.

Re: Congratulation to HP

hmmm, I'm sure we can beat that uptime on our SuperDome in one week time after a reboot. :-)

Re: Congratulation to HP

Just being the fly in the ointment.

How can the box be secure if it hasn't been patched in a thousand days?

There are quite a few security bulletins requiring reboot since then.

Re: Congratulation to HP

Just my $.02 as usual. I'm really surprised how could any system be up for 1012 days without the need of any patches that might require reboot or any other reason. The maximum our HP-UX Server can survive without rebooting is for two weeks. But I reboot it on weekly bases.
I'm impressed.

Thanks.
