Re: Crash dump

Shalom,

It is possible to configure crash to go to any file system you wish.

Re: Crash dump

Hi,

It can be done. By default savecrash will copy the dump content to /var/adm/crash directory.

Either create a new filesystem and mount it on /var/adm/crash directory or edit /etc/rc.config.d/savecrash and modify the SAVECRASH_DIR value to new filesytem mount point.

default will be this...
SAVECRASH_DIR=/var/adm/crash
Best wishes,

Ganesh.
