DC7600 & FEDORA CORE 2
We have been installing FEDORA CORE 2 on DC7100 with no problems. Since DC7100 has reached EOL, we have bought DC7600. DC7600 has 945 chipset against 915 chipset for DC7100. Whether it is because of different chip set or SATA2 Hard disk (PU648AV), FEDORA CORE 2 fails during installation saying "NO HARD DISK FOUND". It even can't find network card.
Can you suggest some solution - will it do any good if 786D BIOS Famoly Processor patch is applied.
I believe this problem is because of BIOS or chipset 945 not compatible with FEDORA CORE 2.
Is there any patch available.
Hoping for a prompt reply.
Thanks
