DISK & Memory requirements query on IVM

I have a situation where I have to install 2*IVM on a 870c machine running HP-UX 11i on both host and guest.
I have 2*146GB for OS and 2*300GB for DATA as there is no SAN at present.

I have to create both guest and host os on 2*146GB using RAID 1 - is there any risk involved?

or what's the best practice?

Re: DISK & Memory requirements query on IVM

Some questions:

- 11iv2 or 11iv3?
- how much memory you have?

Since you have 4 disks (hardware mirrored?) you should go with LV virtual disks on the 300GB pair (based on LVM).

Hope this helps!
