DL320 Fans won't shut down when OS loads

New HP DL320 G2 3GHz, RHEL-ES 4 (not officially supported...I know)
OS load goes on system fine but high volume-high noise system fans won't shut off.
Any ideas?

have you searched the forums with "DL320 fan control" ? Quite a few solutions to try!
