DL360 with IPCop
I am trying to install a new beta of IPCop (www.ipcop.org), that now has scsi disk support. I had the developers include support for Smart Array Controller so that I could run it on a DL360 (800Mhz). The developers compiled cpqarray modules and setup the /dev/ida references. I have the HD's setup in a RAID mirror. The install runs fine, grub installs etc. After the install was finished the server rebooted and now it says Missing Operating System. When I boot with a recovery disk all the files are seem to be installed properly. When I run fdisk the first parition /boot is active etc. So why do you guys think it won't boot off of it? Grub is loaded to the first partition and not the MBR. The developers don't have a Smart Array to test the setup with, so I am kind of the test dummy. I am out of ideas and I was hoping you guys would have some.
