DL380 G3 Suse 10 SP1 and System Management software

Hello folks,

I see that HP offers software for Suse enterprise v9.0 on the DL380 G3 platform, but not SLES 10 SP1.

Has anyone used the SLES 9 software on Suse Enterprise Server 10 SP1 before? Can it work reliably or is not recommended?

For one reason or another I failed to use the Quickstart for the SLES 10 install and therefore do not have the Proliant drivers installed. I'd love to do this right so I can watch for erros and failure through Insight.

Any recommendations?

Are you referring to the ProLiant Support Pack?

Yes Jeff,
I am referring to the Proliant Support Packs. The problem is that the server is in production and I would like to use the supported drivers, but I am unsure if they will work backwardly with the DL380 G# as I have installed SLES 10 on the box. The seerver runs fine now, but will the Support Pack drivers cause problems if I choose the SLES 10 pack rather than the SLES 9 pack that was designed for the G3 rev of the DL380?

I just don't want things to break :-)
