Debugging with DDE

HP-UX11.0 - Using DDE both graphic and command line, I want to write trace or watch output to a file. I've tried trace -entry -exit >trace.file. The file is created but is always empty. The trace output appears only in the debug window. Please help.

Hi,
I don't know for dde
but if you wants to trace system calls, you can use tusc:
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/tusc-7.3/
