Def user names = root, bin, sys and other?
Def group names = root, bin, sys and other?
Have I missed or incorrectly listed anything above? I was unsure as to "other" being lisetd in the def user list. Unlike one other (non-hp) unix, I don't see any reference to system for user or group... just sys.
Thx in advance for any/all replies.

Re: Default user/group names
But what about the Def User list? Is there a def system username of "other" or is it only used to denote group membership?
I can't ever remember seeing a file owned by "other", but I have seen files "group-owned" by other... Haven't logged on to an HP box in a while and really taken a good look... been busy w/other 'Nix systems and will have to check this out at the Data Center.

Re: Default user/group names
Take a look at /etc/passwd and /etc/group.
