Device file for DLT8000

Hi
Is there anyone who know how to create an UNCOMPRESSED device file for a DLT8000 drive (HP-UX 11.11). SAM don't seems to work (I get no difference if selecting compress or not) and I can't find any documentation about the DLT8000 drive.
