Hi All,
How HP-UX differs in configuring NIS,DNS and NFS When compare to Sun Solaris.
For example, In Solaris we use to define "nis" for "dns" in /etc/nsswitch.conf when configuring DNS server or NIS server.
Any Document regarding the configuring NFS,DNS and NIS in HP-UX?
Looking for your help....

Hello,
A details HP-UX <> Solaris Interoperability Cookbook is available on the Web at:
http://www.interex.org/tech/9000/Tech/sun_hpux_interop/index.html
Although not specific to Solaris 2.7, 95% of the content applies.
Also, there are example nsswitch.conf files for you to use in /usr/newconfig/etc/, which you can select from, and copy to /etc/nsswitch.conf and then edit per your configuration requirements.
Hope this helps,
-> Brian Hackley
