Do I have to use our own exchange server to send out e-mail

Currently I am using our company exchange server as a relay

I modify the /etc /mail/sendmail.cf

# "Smart" relay host (may be null)

DSexchange-server-hostname

But because my servers are not on the domain and do not  have a legit email account, new network security policies are now blocking these servers from sending e-mails to external e-mail address.    So now emails and send alerts to my phone do not work.         Any suggestions on something I can do on my HP_UX side to allow me to e-mail?

The exchange server can be set up to allow the HP-UX servers to send messages to it, and it will then relay the messages.  The exchange admin should know how to do this.

Thank you Patrick. Yes they can, but they are in other department, so I am waiting on this request to be filled. So I was just looking for away around not having to wait for them grant my servers the access.
