Does anybody run Oracle Applications 11i on a 1-2 processor box?

I would like to compare my kernel parms and swap to yours. I have an A500 with 1 processor 550mhz and 2GB of ram. This is for a 15-30 user environment. Have a test and prod instance on the box. This box is development. Our prod boxes might be a little bigger. Everything seems to run ok, but sometimes get unable to spawn another process errors when running patches. If you have successful instances it might be useful for me to see your kernel parm printout from SAM and maybe see your swapinfo. Thanks

Yes, we have L1000 server with 2 CPU. Initially we had 2MG RAM and it was not sufficient for running 2 instances with oracle application 11i. We added more memory to the system. Let me know which kernel parameters you are interested to see.

Can you tell me more about your setup?
Are you running 11i, how many instances on this machine, how many processors and mhz, how much RAM, how many users do you support per instance? swapinfo?
