Dual Printer Orientation

I have several HP printers on the network I need to setup to print in portrait
and landscape orientation. The workstation's are WIN95B PC's. I have two
printer definitions for each network printer setup, one set to portrait the
other to landscape. When I try to print a test page I receive an error message
"Windows was unable to print the test page". How can I setup these printers?

Re: Dual Printer Orientation

Sounds like you might have some other problems, can you print to the printers
at all?
Setup a plain vanila queue and send a test print to the printer. If the
printer is a HP laserjet get jetadmin and use it. If the printer is using
TCP/IP try pinging the printer from your desktop. if you can reach your
printer then this is the first step.

After you have established that you can print to the printer and you have
connectivity.

Go into control panel/ printers / Add printer / Select setting to be managed on
My Computer/ Add port

here you can add two jetadmin ports to the same printer and call it two
different things and then you can setup two queues to the same printer with
different page settings.
