Re: ES45 with kzbcc-xe
Hi,
Looking through all the notes above it looks like you have had a lot of good info but I will just try to clarify / confirm a few points:
NOT supported by VMS but you are using TRU64 which should be min 5.1a + patch kit 1 or 5.1b
Min Alpha f/w is V6.0 - or later.
It si supported on the ES45 - max 8 KZPCC
There IS a serial interface but it is a real pain to use - stick to the gui if you can.
The nile card(s) should be a min of Rev-0b.The nile card(s) is the little card that you will find in the PCI card cage area next to the junk i/o card.
Supported storage cages are:
42xx shelves
43xx shelves
BA356 with DOC2 I/O module
BA610-6D internal slot cage
NO tape or CDROM support.
I believe that the above info is correct for this product.
If you have checked all this stuff and all OK you may wish to consider disconnecting the nile card from the configuration as this could be what you problem is. It would also be worth checking / replacing the cables as well.
