ESX 4 U3 on Bl460c G7 - Can't see NICS

Guys,

I have a very odd issue with installing ESX 4.0 U3. I have downloaded the HP builds and manually run the installer. It's bombs out though whilst laoding the network drivers saying it can't find drivers for my Nics! I have even tried to downlod the HP .ISO file with the Nic drives but it still cannot detect them! Any ideas where to start troubleshooting this? The Nics are Flex-10 nics connected to a HP C-Class enclsoure.

It seems, that the NIC driver is not included in VMware installation ISO.  You can load a custom set of drivers for the NIC.

It looks similiar with this advisory.

What's your NIC? The embedded one?

Thans for the reply but as stated, I am using the HP builds. I will try downloading the drivers from that link and see how it goes.

Tried that package and no joy :(. I managed to get it working using my Insight Control jobs. Strange behaviour altogether!
