Hi All! I know here is a HP forun, but i need help so much and I don't know if it occur on unix (help!!!).
after installed a second oracle database on NT4.0, when I try to export on the first database, I get the error like:
exp system/manager@dbnm.domain
the system prompt me about the password, but I know the passwd is correct (I can connect using sqlplus).Thanx in advance.

Solution
Hi Claudio,
did you export the oracle sid name before you did the export on the database. If you have multiple databases, you have to export the oracle sid for the first, do a export on first, then export the oracle sid for the second and then do a export on the second database.

have you tried setting the environment variables
ORACLE_HOME
and
ORACLE_SID
correctly before calling "exp"?

Perhaps your tnsname is not exact !
try :
tnsping xxx.domain
to insure that at sqlnet side it's OK.
