Simpler Navigation for Servers and Operating Systems
Completed: a much simpler Servers and Operating Systems section of the Community. We combined many of the older boards, so you won't have to click through so many levels to get at the information you need. Check the consolidated boards here as many sub-forums are now single boards.

Error in invoking target sdo_on of makefile

### Error Messages: ###
Error in invoking target sdo_on of makefile
/oracle/ABD/920_64/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk

## System rp74xx, 4G, 4CPU , 11.11 with Jun 2003 Support bundles loaded ###

### Problem Description: ###
I am upgrading my database from 8.1.7.4 to 9.2.0.3. I have already installed

the software for 9.2.0.1 and am trying to install the patch for 9.2.0.3. I
recieve the above error during the "Linking Oracle interMedia Locator Patch
9.2.0.3.0". I have installed this patch already on 7 servers with similar,
if not exact, configurations and have not had this problem before.

Re: Error in invoking target sdo_on of makefile

What errors you have in make.log

General things to note is that

check the ulimit -a
check the memory and swap usage.
check for the proper OS patches
