I would like to use Reflection X to export CDE desktop.
When I log on I can't see the GUI.
While SAM GUI works right.
Do I need to set some parameters on Reflection X?
Thank you
Luca

Re: Exporting CDE Desktop on Reflection X
Are you not logging into GUI session?
If you are doing so the DISPLAY should be exported automatically to IP_OF_PC/LAPTOP:x.0
Where x is your session ID for reflection sessions. Generally 0 or 1.
You can find out wheather the DISPLAY is exported properly or not by
#echo $DISPLAY

Re: Exporting CDE Desktop on Reflection X
I don't login in GUI mode.
I push connect button on reflection X that ask me IP/ID/PASS.
echo $DISPLAY return my PC IP ADRESS where I run Reflection x

Solution2 Questions
1)Whan you login you need to select an XDMCP option . direct or indirect . What do you do
2)When you try is there a message in /var/dt/Xerrors on the HP-UX box

Re: Exporting CDE Desktop on Reflection X
It was my error with reflection X
I used to open a connection without XDMCP Broadcast.
Now all CDE is working
