Failing to get on ILO Console
Hi,
We just setup a new BL20P Blade in a new Chassis. We have networked up our LAN Interface and ILO Port and we're able to get to the ILO.
What we can't do is get on the console to IP up the system itself. We've tried cold booting our system. This system already has an image on it as well so we're surprised we cannot access it via the console. Here's the only thing we get on the console when it is accessed:
"Requested Service is unavailable, it is already in use by a different client."
Does anyone have any ideas why we can't access our system via the ILO Console and/or if the above message may be related?
Thanks in advance...
-Ken

Re: Failing to get on ILO Console
Is the IP address perhaps in use elsewhere?
That would lead to these symptons.
Turn off the server and see if you can ping the chosen IP address. If you get a reply, you know what to do next.
Punt this to your networking department :-)
