Firewire and Mandrake 9.x or RH9 in a Notebook
Hi, i have a Compaq Presario 2528 and i can't install the lastest releases of Mandrake or RH. It lock up loading the ochi1394 module. In RedHat you can avoid this using the option "nofirewire" but it lock up detecting new software. Anybody can't help me? thanks.

Try expert mode, as this gives you more control.

Re: Firewire and Mandrake 9.x or RH9 in a Notebook
I have a ze5155 Pavilion. To get RH8 to install I also had to include
'nousb',
'nopcmcia'.
Hope that helps.
