Re: GFS for FC3...
What version of the kernel is the GFS actually tested or developed with?
If you check the old_index.html page at the bottom of the current index.html page the list the "current kernel" version.
On the new page, no info at all about it.
Better ask a project member or the maillinglist...
From http://sources.redhat.com/cluster/old-index.html
Source code
There are multiple CVS branches that contain varying levels of stability.
RHEL4 - Stable branch used for RHEL4 cluster packages.
cvs -d :pserver:cvs@sources.redhat.com:/cvs/cluster checkout -r RHEL4 cluster
builds against: kernel-2.6.9-5.EL.src.rpm
STABLE - Stable branch that builds against the latest kernel.org kernels.
cvs -d :pserver:cvs@sources.redhat.com:/cvs/cluster checkout -r STABLE cluster
builds against: latest vanilla kernel
HEAD - Unstable branch containing bleeding edge code. The components do not all work together yet.
cvs -d :pserver:cvs@sources.redhat.com:/cvs/cluster checkout cluster
builds against: latest vanilla kernel
Regards,
Bob

Re: GFS for FC3...
GFS was, I believe created and compiled on the 2.6 kernel but was ported back to the 2.4 kernel and is available on Red Hat's site.
It costs $499 and comes with a license to the clustering suite.

Re: GFS for FC3...
I am running FC3 stock kernel. Could this be the problem?
