HP 6630 BIOS

I do not know how to access the BIOS on the HP 6630. Pressing the Delete key on
startup has no effect. Specifically, I need to know how to disable the display chipset on the motherboard. I have a Voodoo 3000 PCI card and it's having a few problems.

Thanks

Re: HP 6630 BIOS

Rupert,

I have the HP 6470Z. To start the BIOS Setup program, you need to press F1 when the Blue Logo screen appears.

Hope that helps.

Re: HP 6630 BIOS

The F1 function key will access the bios routines. BTW, there is a bios update that HP has issued for this machine. For more information see http://support.hp.com:80/cds/showpage/cat_id/21502646/id/bph05818.html#P17_929

Also, HP has a separate set of forums for their pc, networking, and printer lines. the site for the 6630 can be found under http://support.hp.com:80/cds/showpage/id/21190367.htm There is a wealth of information is pretty extensive.
