HP Cluster service Gaurd issue
The following is an extract from the log file:
Couldn't deactivate volume group "/dev/vg03":
No such file or directory
Oct 18 22:00:13 - vgchange -a n /dev/vg03 failed, trying again.
vgchange: Warning: couldn't query physical volume "/dev/dsk/c10t0d3":
The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to
this volume group
vgchange: Warning: couldn't query physical volume "/dev/dsk/c14t0d3":
The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to
this volume group
vgchange: Warning: couldn't query physical volume "/dev/dsk/c16t0d3":
The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to
this volume group
vgchange: Warning: couldn't query physical volume "/dev/dsk/c18t0d3":
The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to
this volume group
This only occurs now and again and fails to come back up after the backup any ideas?

Is the business copy presented to the same host or to another host?
On a seperate note... why are you stopping a cluster package just to take a business copy - I wouldn't expect you'd need to do that?

In the ioscan output the following disks :
/dev/dsk/c10t0d3
/dev/dsk/c14t0d3
/dev/dsk/c16t0d3
/dev/dsk/c18t0d3
/dev/dsk/c20t0d3
/dev/dsk/c6t0d3
not found.
Can you try to find why they disappeared. AFAIU, this is not a SG problem, probably you have some disconnection on your storage.
Check the storage staus, run ioscan -fn and try to find the lost disks.
