There are no DeskJet drivers for HP-UX.

When you install a printer under HP-UX, you do not have to install some drivers for it (as you used to do it under Windows). You have to copy a model script coresponding to your printer model. The scrpts are located in /usr/lib/lp/model/ (appropriate for your printer will be probably deskjet or deskjet855C). Associate the script with the printer you want to add to your system with -m option in lpadmin command. Just add printer specifying model script as follows:

lpadmin - -m
