HP EVA8400 WITH SRM
I have implemented a disater recovery solution consists of two sites based on vpshere vmware 4.1,SRM,c7000 enclosure with 13 blades bl460g6 and 2 eva8400.
In the first site was installed eva 8400, 13 bl460 g6 in a c7000 ,vSphere 4.1 and SRM.
In the secondary site was installed eva 8400,13 bl460 g6 in a c7000 , vSphere 4.1 and SRM.
Replication is enabled between the 2 EVA.
I have installed and configured everything and I had a scheduled failover with a vm and it works fine.
My question is as follows:
In the event of a natural disaster at the primary site, then the main Vcenter and the EVA are mainly off the mechanism of SRM working? Or SRM to work all vCenter eva and must be within reach?
Thanks
Rispondi

Re: HP EVA8400 WITH SRM
Not sure what you are asking...
In the case of a site failure, you control your failover from the vCenter Server / SRM Server running in your "Recovery Site".
