Re: HP HP-PB 100 Base TX Card unclaimed

It's not a patch you need, but a driver.

The driver you need should be on the 1st of the Applications CDs in the 4 CD set.

You should be able to just scroll through the application from within swinstall and find the HP-PB 100Mb product that you need.

Re: HP HP-PB 100 Base TX Card unclaimed

Hi,

The driver for the HP PB 100BT card is

btlan1

I couldn't find an 11.0 patch for it though.
I did find a 10.2 patch however - PHNE_27079.
I'll dig a little deeper for 11.0 patch.

Rgds,
Jeff

Re: HP HP-PB 100 Base TX Card unclaimed

hi, the driver is on the first application cd. Look for product A3495A thats the part number of the hppb lan card for the 800's.
Mount the CD then run swinstall

Re: HP HP-PB 100 Base TX Card unclaimed

once you have installed the btlan1 driver and any required/related patches, keep in mind that the HP-PB 100BT card was a _connectivity_ solution only. It was never a "performance" solution. So, it will not get anywhere _near_ linkrate. Maybe 1/2 on a good day.

The performance solution for 100BT in a K Class system was the HSC card, driven by the btlan4 driver (10.20, 11.0) or simply the unified HSC/PCI/Core 100BT driver (11.11)
