HP LaserJet P2035n

Hi,
I need to setup a new printer on HP-UX 11. I added the printer using SAM and when I send a test file from the command line, I get the error
"lpd: no jobs queued on the port Auto".
I can ping the printer IP address as well as the printer name.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm, the specs seem to have some confusing words:

Print languages, standard: Host Based, HP PCL5e
(Host based won't work on HP-UX.)

No difference. It has the same threadid and is still left in the original forum and is now in the HP-UX forum.

I did call HP support and they helped me download a driver for HP-UX. After I ran the installation, I still get the same error.

Is there any resolution? We ran into the same situation with this printer, and currently seeking HP support which can't seems to get anywhere so far.

ok, its a 2035n, so did you install it as a "network" printer in SAM? Or remote?

Did you download / install the model script for HP Laserjet P2035 from that site?
