HP Pavillion a410n won't power on

We had a power outage and afterwards our PC won't power on. There is a small green light on the back of the computer by the power cord that blinks when the power cord is plugged into the computer and the wall. If the power cord is unplugged, it continues blinking for a while before it stops. Please advise

It would appear your Power Supply is ok - which is usually the culprit.

It's more than likely your motherboard or processor or both that got damaged.

Unless you have parts that you can swap to test which part is bad, you may need to take it to a professional.

Might be time for a new computer as it may cost you the same to fix it.
