HP-Scsi SYM53C416 with Mandrake 8

After the installation of the new mandrake 8 I got back to all problems with my HP-scsi card for the Deskscan 4c.
I was loading the card with insmod sym53c416 sym53c416=0x02a0,5
But the new kernel is not responding to the card and gives errors.
Warm-boot does not help either.
Who helps??
