HP-UNIX installation on HP Prolient DL380

Dear All

I would like to know that Can i install HP-UNIX on HP prolient DL380 hardware.

Secondly Is there any special requriments to install it?.

HP-UX will only install on PA-RISC or Itanium hardware, which the Proliant is not, at least as far as I know.

If you want to learn about unix style OS in general, install any linux on your server.

hp-ux runs (as mentioned above) only on pa-risc or integrity servers.

For learning, you may consider to get a (more or less) cheap system from the used market. I'd suggest something like a rx1600 or rx2600.
