HP-UX 11i V2 - Installing IBM SDD along with HP SecurePath?
I have few HP-UX 11i v2 machines around that are connected to a HP EVA5000.
The HP-UX machines have multiple paths to the EVA and are running HP SecurePath for multipathing.
I would like to connect the same HP-UX machines to a IBM SAN box, but for it to work i would need to install the IBM SDD multipath driver.
So, the question is: Has anyone installed multiple multipath drivers onto a HP-UX system, and would it be supported?

Re: HP-UX 11i V2 - Installing IBM SDD along with HP SecurePath?
I read elsewhere on ITRC (yesterday) that this functionality is definitely built into HP-UX 11.31.
So this feature would work with those systems connected to your IBM SAN box.
11.23, I have not seen that this is implemented, I believe you would need drivers from IBM to take advantage of this functionality.

Yea, the question was:
Would it be possible to have SecurePath & IBM SDD installed at the same time.

We are using the IBM San Volume Controller (IBM SVC 2145).

Re: HP-UX 11i V2 - Installing IBM SDD along with HP SecurePath?
As you can guess, we do not have any IBM in our SAN mix, so I can not speak for it authoritatively but what I heard from my SAN admins, powerpath is capable of handling any modern SAN infrastructure thrown at it.
Hope this helps.
