I'm looking whether it is possible with DC-OE to implement a VM-Host-SG-Cluster.
The Guests are startet within SG-Packages and there is a automatic failover of the Guests to the other VM-Host.
Is such a solution possible with the DC-OE ?

Solution
Bonjour,
I would say no, since the target OS of DC-OE is HP-UX 11.31. You can NOT install HPVM 3.5 on a 11.31 Host.
It seems that Integrity VM 4 will be released in September 2008 and will be supported on 11.31.
Now, if your question is : is it possible to have a SG cluster, between 2 VM Host, where packages are virtual machines, the answer is YES, and you will find a dedicated tool kit when installing MCSG.
Regards
Eric

Re: HP-UX 11i v3 Data Center OE VM-Host with SG and Failover Guests ?
Bonjour Kasper,
the new September 2008 DC-OE contains now Integrity VM 4.0. Integrity VM 4.0 works on a 11iv3 host, so with this release of DC-OE (VSE-OE + MC-OE) you can now implement a guest as VM package MC/ServiceGuard solution.
Hope this will help
