Hi again,

due to the fact I have no glue where you are located, next try http://h20141.www2.hp.com/Hpparts/Part_Resellers.aspx?mscssid=75A24E4112204E279D22769888919691&geo_code=NA

on the left side you can choose your country to get a list of authorized parts partners.

hth,

Stephan

Otherwise, we dont call Boot Disk because Boot disk is just a technical Term for Os configuration, so , just tell them the reference that u want and capacity if you have part number its appreciate to accelerate process ...

Re: HP UX Boot disk required

Shalom,

You can take the part number from partsurfer site or OS utilities and search ebay for the part.

I am assuming you are looking for a better price than you can get for HP.

A boot disk becomes a boot disk after it is installed and you go through a procedure to make it a boot disk.

The procedure varies depending on whether you use LVM or VxVM as your volume manager and whether your system is Itanium or PA-RISC and which version of HP-UX is installed.
