Re: HP-UX Error :22 : invalid argument

Hi

could you specify a bit more the way you replicate your production ddatabase onto your test environment.
Also, when you say "modifying control files", what did you do exactly ?

Re: HP-UX Error :22 : invalid argument

Hi Arun,

"ORA-27047:unable to read the header block of file" indicates that the read system call failed, additional information will indicate which function encountered the error.

The error no. HP_UX error:22 is invalid argument.

Binary datafiles are specific to the operating system, file system and hardware. Are the file systems on your Test server same as you Production server.

Re: HP-UX Error :22 : invalid argument

Hi Arun,

"We tried to replicate production server Oracle 9.2 database to our test server" -> it is only easy to do IF both database instances has the same NAME.
