HP-UX and LDAPS ?

Ok, I am very new to the LDAP thing, and pretty new to UX, I come from an MPE background, my question is, can ldapux connect to a Microsoft Active LDAPS directory with SSL ? , and if so, where can I find out how to set it all up.. and I would accept even the most basic repsonse right now.. I am very green at this.. Thanks to all.
