New gcc depots have been uploaded for 10.20 (32bit), 11.00 (32bit & 64bit), 11.11 (32bit & 64bit), and 11.23 (Itanium2).

I strongly advice NOT to use the 64bit versions on HP-UX 11.00 and HP-UX 11.11, as I find them unusable: building development perl works, but tests fail or hang.
Revert to 4.0.3 instead. They work fine.

Just uploaded new versions of OpenSSL and OpenSSH for 10.20 and 11.00, both only 32bit

10.20 OpenSSL 0.9.7j + OpenSSH 4.3p2
11.00 OpenSSL 0.9.8b + OpenSSH 4.3p2

I've done this with a new method that allows me to write more flexible psf files and accepts wildcards in fileset's file lines and nonexisting directories, so I need to maintain less psf files.

Hi guru's,
i am not able to understand.
my questions:
1. how you can provide HPUX to others? othes should but it from hp only, isnt?
2. "Procura compiled a new gcc release". new gcc release means, like, linux downloads available in the net and when i get that one, i need to compile and search the other utilities in the net, something like that..

I supplu depots of OpenSoftware to to HP ITRC members on my site.
It is Open Software. I can do with that whatever I want.
HP does the same on two levels:
1. By means of the HP software DVD/CD/Site (1)
2. By means of the HP Porting Center (2)

All of these are free of charge and require no passwords or codewords

I do so on my site (3) mainly because HP doesn't support HP-UX 10.20 and 11.00 anymore for mor recent versions of OpenSource software.

I switched to depot's on user request. I used to put it on my site as bzip2'd tar archives.

FYI I have uploaded OpenSSL-0.9.8d and OpenSSH-4.4p1 for HP-UX 11.00 PA-RISC 2.0/32 today after many security issues have been targetted.

ATM only for 11.00/32

You can expect 11.11 (11iv1) pa-risc-2.0/64 (NOT 32) soon.
If I can free enough time, also 10.20 will be done.
I will also do 11.23/64 itanium2, but maybe you should use HP's ports for those.
I released 11.00 here, because HP won't,

Someone find out that the module "version" misbehaved on my recent perl builds. That was due to a configuration variable that I forgot to take out.

I was assured that this does not cause binary incompatability, but it /may/ cause other, esp XS, modules to misbehave too.

I have installed GNU gcc 3.4.6 on 11.11, 11.00 and 10.20 and used that to rebuilt the complete trees, as 4.0.3 and 4.1.1 still caused untrackable trouble. Lets hope the upcoming 4.2 will be better.

The perl builds will be uploaded when they are finished. Just check on a regular basis.

Just finished uploading perl-5.10.0-11.23-ia64.sd

It contains perl-5.10.0 for HP-UX 11.23 Itanium. Both perl32 and perl64 are included. The 32bit package does not contain XML and SSL parts, because I do not have the 32bit libs for those.

There is a very very recent Perl/Tk build in it and DBI-1.601
