I tried to present the 8th volume and when I run ioscan -nfC disk, I still can't see it

Even I tried on another vdisk also I can't see it. Is it due to its limitation?

Re: HP-UX with MSA2012fc
I didn't think the MSA2012fc was supported on HP-UX - I thought only the MSA2300 was supported?
Read the QS carefully and you will see that:

Re: HP-UX with MSA2012fc
That's why I said read it *carefully* - the QS is for the MSA2300 as well , depsite the misleading title. Note the following where it talks about the old MSA2012 controller:
Related Option
HP StorageWorks 2000fc Modular Smart Array Controller (limited use)
(for use only with an AJ948A LFF chassis for those needing to configure an older MSA2012fc. Only supports older features, functionalities. No SFF or MSA70 JBOD support, max 48 LFF drives, max 64 snaps; no HP-UX, OpenVMS, or Integrity server support)
If you check in SPOCK (which is the reliable place to check for support, not the QS):
http://www.hp.com/storage/spock
I think you will find only the MSA2300 listed with HP-UX support, not the MSA2012
