HP-UX
I wanted to disable one processor in one of the live integrity rx6600 server running with HP_UX 11iV3 from OS.Can anyone tell me how to do it?

You have to do it from EFI shell. you need to bring the system down.
Shell> help configuration
Configuration commands:
cpuconfig -- Deconfigure or reconfigure cpus
Shell> cpuconfig [cpu] [on|off]

It is possible if you have iCOD (instant Capacity on Demand) software. Otherwise use cpuconfig command as suggested by others.
