Re: HP-Unix OS License Information
What you see here (uname -a) is not a license but a unique software ID based on the servers hardware.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

These are (paper based) license to use (LTU).
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HP-Unix OS License Information
Our model is "ia64 hp server rx3600"
And as per the below infomration found at http://h71028.www7.hp.com/enterprise/us/en/os/hpux11i-oe-software-licensing.html
"HP-UX 11i software is licensed on a per-socket basis on the new HP Integrity family of servers (models BL8x0c i2, rx2800 i2, Superdome 2). HP-UX software on all other Integrity servers is still licensed on a per-core basis".
means we have license per-core basis?
Which command or file will give the accurate and complete information about the software license.
