HP Vectra VE NT Boot Problem
Help. I just received an HP Vectra VE PC from our Information Management
Division (IMD). I can't get them to fix this problem so I can't use it.
On boot up I get this error message:
"At least one service or driver failed during system startup.
Use Even Viewer to examine the event log for details."
In the Event Log is an error from Service Control Manager:
"The 3Com 3C59x BUS Master Adapter Driver service failed to start due to the
following error:
A device attached to the System is not functioning."
After Boot UP Internet Explorer errors out witht the following message:
"An application error has occured and an application eror log is being
generated." ... access violation ... IEXPLORE.EXE"
What do I need to do to make this NT PC work?
Any information would be appreciated.

Re: HP Vectra VE NT Boot Problem
I would remove the 3com driver and reinstall it.
Do the IE as well.
