HP Virtual Keyboard / DL320 G4

I try to install Linux on a DL320 G4, but when choosing Keyboard setting, the install system hang. When i open a console, dmesg shows that a mouse and an "HP Virtual Keyboard" are plugged, then unplugged continusly forever.
I disabled usb support in bios (F9) and also ILO 2 which seems to be the problem.

Is there an update to correct this problem ?

The virtual keyboard is a "feature" of iLo. You may want to make sure that your iLo has the latest firmware.

I'm having the same problem. I think it is actually a problem with udev or an incompatibility of iLO and udev.

There seems to be a patch available for this:

And the patch above is already in newer kernels (checked 2.6.17.8)

I see this problem too, both with the dl320 g4 and the dl 360 g5, both ilo2 boxes

I have reported this as a bug to the Debian Installer team, see:
