HP iLO and Large Packets
Any ideas on why I can't ping the iLO's with large packets over 1500 bytes?

Re: HP iLO and Large Packets
I can ping my c-class blade ILO's with up to 1518 bytes with the MS ping command. If I ping with 1519 it fails
This makes me think about IP fragmentation and that maybe the ILO's don't like fragmented ICMP but.... any packet bigger than 1480 would need to be fragmented.
I wouldn't really worry too much about this behavior.
Are you seeing different symptoms which you think might be related?

Re: HP iLO and Large Packets
The iLO's on _which_ model of blades? And perhaps more interesting - what sort of situation had you trying to ping those iLO's with fragmented ICMP echo requests?
