HP pavilion notebook modem drivers for SuSE linux 8.1

I am a Linux novice and am attempting to set up my HP notebook with the correct drivers. Does anyone know of drivers that would support the ESS Superlink-M modem included in the zt1121s model. The linux kernel is version 2.4.19.
