What are the relevant HPE MPI environment variables for configuring the usage of Mellanox Socket Direct cards?

Is it possible to choose particular device for communication?

The socket direct adapter appears to be two port to the system to the key is to get the traffic spread over the logical adapters. This is similar to having multiple ports or multiple adapters. There is documentation on the Mellanox site that discusses MPI considerations when using socket direct:
